Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday described the Union Budget presented by FM Nirmala Sitharaman as progressive and wholeheartedly welcomed the proposals.

"I congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

This budget is intended to help the State Government to go more aggressively in the areas it is focusing on," he told the medical here.

The Chief Minister said this budget further supports the Ease of Doing Business initiative implemented by the State.

"The State Government has already focused heavily on MSMEs... there is scope to strengthen them further.

The budget is meant to empower women, farmers and youth. The year 2047 will help Vikasit India become a developed economy," he stated.

Naidu said the Finance Minister presented a balanced budget. The budget is there to help direction and destiny.

Various technologies, including AI, will go to the next level of reforms." The Chief Minister pointed out that the budget is geared towards renewable energy, one grid nation. "The budget is prepared according to short, medium and long term goals.

The budget is meant to contribute to better living standards and ease of living."

He felt that the State is served by the Hyderabad-Bangalore and Hyderabad-Chennai high-speed rail corridors. Areas like Tirupati and Amaravati will be covered in these high speed corridors.

He said Bangalore-Chennai High Speed Rail Corridor will cover Palamaneru, Chittoor and other areas.These three high speed rail corridors cover different parts of AP.

Cities like Hyderabad, Amaravati, Bangalore, Chennai are all connected. AP is also located in the dedicated rare earth corridor. The most valuable heavy minerals can be extracted and used to manufacture critical electronics, he added.
